Documentation before trust
Buyers should see what records exist, what is missing, and which claims are still unsupported before treating a listing as strong.
Clear condition disclosure
Repairs, replaced sections, coatings, casts, replicas, composites, restoration, and uncertainty should be stated plainly.
No automatic guarantees
A listing page, seller account, score badge, or review label should not be treated as a guarantee of identity, value, or future resale.
Question-first buying
Buyers should ask for clearer photos, transfer records, restoration details, and source context before serious purchases.
Higher-risk review
Expensive, unusual, international, or weakly documented items may need extra review before a buyer relies on the listing.
Record-based disputes

Documents are not a warranty
Certificates, bills of sale, landowner letters, permits, and similar files can be forged, altered, recycled from another specimen, or simply wrong. Jurassic Depot may check uploads for completeness and consistency, but that review is not a guarantee the papers are genuine. Under our Terms, the platform is a marketplace venue and, to the extent allowed by law, is not liable for losses caused by fraudulent or misleading documents supplied by sellers or third parties. Independent verification is on you when the stake is high.
