Jurassic Depot distinguishes source-backed reference information from samples, proposed controls, reported figures, and verified platform activity. A database row is not evidence unless its source and confidence are reviewable.

Evidence labels

Primary-source fact

Directly supported by a linked official or original source.

Sourced interpretation

A clearly framed conclusion drawn from identified evidence.

Illustrative sample

Interface or workflow example; not a transaction, review, person, or market observation.

Proposed policy

A future rule or workflow that is not represented as active.

Unverified claim

Retained only when the uncertainty itself helps readers evaluate risk.

No proprietary market statistics yet

Until enough completed transactions exist, Jurassic Depot will not publish platform averages, restoration prevalence, rejection rates, conversion rates, seller rankings, or price trends as observed marketplace data. Public auction records remain exceptional comparables and must link to the publishing auction house.

Future dataset requirements

— Define inclusion, exclusion, currency, premium, refund, and duplicate rules.
— Publish the sample size and observation window beside every statistic.
— Separate asking prices, hammer prices, premiums, and completed platform totals.
— Preserve correction history and never refresh a date without substantive review.
— Aggregate or redact private information before publishing marketplace intelligence.
