How money moves
- 1. Sale completes — auction win or Buy Now.
- 2. Seller pays 10% marketplace fee to Jurassic Depot.
- 3. Buyer pays 2–5% protection (plus card processing when checkout is live).
- 4. 5% of Jurassic Depot fees go to the Preservation / Giving Fund — published in the ledger when disbursed. See Giving Back.
- 5. Direct donations (optional) — supporters can donate directly to vetted conservation organizations via our Donate page. Jurassic Depot takes $0 — 100% forwarded. These donations are tracked separately from platform-fee giving.
On-platform communication
Masked phone calls between buyers and sellers stay on Jurassic Depot — personal numbers are never shown on listing or store pages, and each call session is logged to the listing and deal record.
