Jurassic Depot is being built for documented natural-history collecting. The policy below focuses on provenance, source records, condition disclosure, cultural-property risk, and buyer-facing honesty.
Items should not be publicly listed when the seller cannot explain ownership, source, collection context, transfer history, or why they have authority to sell.
Items with unclear country, land type, collection permission, export/import history, or cross-border records may be paused or rejected until documentation is stronger.
Replicas, casts, composites, reconstructed pieces, repaired items, coated items, or restored sections must be disclosed in plain language before buyers rely on the listing.
Claims about tribal affiliation, Native origin, maker identity, museum history, scientific importance, or institutional provenance require written support. Unsupported claims are not allowed.
Sellers may not hide records, shift origin stories, reuse misleading photos, pressure buyers to ignore missing paperwork, or move a transaction off-platform to avoid review standards.
