After marketplace fees are collected, 5% of Jurassic Depot platform fees (from the 10% seller fee and buyer protection fees) go to the Preservation / Giving Fund. Live amounts and recipients are on Transparency.

Policy principles

— 5% of Jurassic Depot platform fees fund education and preservation — not an extra buyer or seller charge.
— Recipients should be real, reachable, and able to confirm permission before names or logos are published.
— Giving should not influence listing approval, seller status, review outcomes, or buyer recommendations.
— Public reports should separate pending commitments from completed disbursements.
— Reversed sales, chargebacks, refunds, or canceled transactions should not count as final giving activity.

Why stop at fossils?

Dinosaurs are gone. Living species do not have to be. A natural extension of Jurassic Depot's preservation story is funding work that keeps megafauna and other threatened life on the planet — not as a rebrand into a zoo marketplace, but as a second track of the same fund: learn from extinction, fight the next one.

Northern white rhino — only two females left; genetic rescue / IVF science with public partners
Javan & Sumatran rhinos — tiny wild populations; park protection and breeding support
Black rhino, vaquita, Amur leopard — anti-poaching, net removal, and habitat corridors
Gorillas & elephants — ranger programs and demand education; fossil education stays a bridge track
