Sample catalog lots: showcase inventory for browsing and UX — clearly labeled Sample, not a claim of live purchase inventory.
Seller stores: public storefronts on the directory. Real dealers apply via Sell; example stores help collectors learn the layout.
Verification tiers: Fully verified, Partially verified, Needs docs, or Buyer beware — decision aids on every lot, not certificates of authenticity.
Pre-launch: code paths exist, but they are not counted as operational until production configuration and end-to-end transactions are verified.
1. Draft submission — title, description, category, origin, condition, and disclosure fields are collected.
2. Risk review — category, origin, documentation gaps, international movement, and cultural-property concerns are checked.
3. Correction or rejection — unclear drafts can require clearer photos, source records, or softer claims.
4. Publication — approved lots go public with verification tier, scores, and document ledger visible to buyers.
